Meet Our Team 

  Mitchell Foil knows the true meaning of outstanding customer service and quality products. Every product he   offers has been extensively researched to assure you the optimum quality at the best values anywhere. Mitchell is a native of Winston-Salem and has been involved with the piano business since 1975. He got his start in his youth with Moxley Piano Company, which was located on 4th street in Winston-Salem. Mitchell attend Elon University and received his bachelor degree in music. After graduation Mitchell retuned back to the piano business as a career with Piano & Organ Supermart in Winston-Salem. In 1985 Mitchell relocated to Virginia Beach, VA to pursue his career in the piano business. While in Virginia Beach he was co-owner of Piano & Organ Warehouse for 18 years. In July of 2002 Mitchell returned back to Winston-Salem to open Mitchell’s Piano Gallery. Mitchell’s desire for excellence, customer service and the joy of serving musicians are deep motivations governing his business expertise. 

Mary Foil - Educational Director   Mary Endsley Foil received a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from UNC Greensboro. For the past 20 years, Mary has enjoyed her career as a musical and stage director, a published lyricist, a vocalist, and as a private music instructor.  Currently, she continues to perform extensively throughout the area, while also maintaining an active teaching studio of piano, voice, and guitar. Mary is married to Mitchell Foil, and has teenage twins, Andrew and Becca.

                                                                                                              

Tommy Dunn -Rodgers Church Organ Consultant  Tommy furthered his music

education at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC.  He has performed extensively throughout NC and the US as accompanist, director and educator for many musical

venues.  His expertise is in church music and church organs, and he is currently the

organist at Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem  NC, playing the Trillium Masterpiece 928  3 manual instrument.  Tommy is happy to offer demonstrations

and  information for the Rodgers products as you make your decision regarding the

instrument you need.

Larry Weisner - Sales Specialist  Larry Weisner, a local native of Winston-Salem,

has been involved with music nearly all of his life. Learning to play the piano at the age of 8,  he had mastered the instrument by the age of 12. He  formally studied piano under David Pinnix and voice under Anne Woodward of Greensboro College.   In addition to the piano, he also plays the clarinet, banjo, guitar as well as the flute. In 1995, he became Music Director  of Southside Baptist Church and has played and sang professionally in the Triad Area.  Larry loves working with people and strives to provide his clients with the utmost in professional service.  We are very fortunate to have him on our team.

Todd Amick - Delivery Manger/Technician Originally from South Carolina

Todd moved to Winston-Salem in 1997. Todd has managed the cafe at Barnes & Noble

and then Hobbytown USA. He has a BS in Business Administration from Newberry

College. Todd is married and has 2 dogs which he considers his children. He builds plastic models and is a avid war gamer in his spare time. Todd has been with Mitchell's since

1994 and is looking forward to having a career with the company for many years to come.

 

Susan Royall - Teacher   Susan considers teaching piano such a pleasure. Seeing

students make new accomplishments each week is a real joy.  She began teaching private piano lessons in 1990.  She studied piano for 10 years with Dr. Joan Winner of Piedmont Baptist College.  She also studied under Linda Baity, Helen Church and Joel Boswell. 

She attended Piedmont Baptist College for music education and theory classes

and holds a bachelor degree in music education from Ashwood University.

 

 

Lachelle Royall - Teacher   Lachelle began learning the piano at age 5 with her mother instructing her. She then went on to study with Dr. Joan Winner for 8 years. During this period she developed a desire to teach others to play. This desire to teach influenced her to continue her education in piano. She holds a Bachelor degree in music form piedmont Baptist College.
